Some things are worth fighting for...

🔥Liverpool Protest 2 years on🔥

Aug 22, 2024

Two years on to the day of the Liverpool protest. A time when 15,000 all stood shoulder to shoulder with a sense of pride with our fellow fan.

A togetherness, a passion and a conviction to drag our club and fanbase back to where it belongs.

Young, old, all races and colours. All united in a common cause.

There is a value in the dignity and authentic way this should be done. Our club has always been about that. That needs to be restored.

We supported Sir Jim before anybody else way back in August 2022 before any strategic investment was mentioned by the club in November.

We had that foresight when others didn’t that it was important to publicly show that support that our club and fanbase demanded change. We also got criticised for this by some who should know better now with egg on their face.

We have constantly shone the lens of Glazer greed back on themselves to raise public awareness and gained worldwide media coverage.

In spite of attempted censorship from media companies and the club.

In any campaign you need buy in, people need to feel invested. Any riotous or violent criminal protests make the news but for all the wrong reasons and you disenfranchise the man on the street. It’s short sighted and not a long-term strategy. We have always been in this for the long term. It had to be a marathon not a sprint. Death by a 1000 cuts.

Highlighting the Glazers as the issue not only to the thousands protesting. No, it’s to millions and millions all over the world on the most marketed club on the planet. It’s turning the glazers own greed against them.

How and why?

Because the 58 can’t be labelled as a bunch of hooligans or criminals, for vandalism or trespass or public order offences.

Exactly how the glazers would frame it, using the media framework they built up over years, primarily in growing the club to fund themselves.

This is something you can’t buy, it has to be earned but it is something you can lose so very easy, public sentiment.

That requires the media to get involved positively and assures the fanbase that this is something they can get behind with confidence. That their interests are being heard and taken seriously.

→ Our intentions and values are pure.

→ Our passion and dedication is limitless.

→ The trust and commitment within the 58 is unbreakable.

THE GLAZERS MUST GO

Only then can our club and fanbase heal and move on.

They have inflicted untold generational damage on our club and fanbase.

This will never be forgotten by many who understand and also those who have literally given years of their lives in this fight.

Some of who are no longer with us and will never see the end of Glazer.

Generations of fans have fought too hard and too long for this not to happen.

We are planning for that day.
