The years of Glazer ownership have ruined the entire vibe and unity amongst our fanbase.
They have bred division, hatred and mockery. They have bred a generation of fans who just want to make a fast buck. They have bred an apathy that is rotting away at the very fibre of our club and support.
From the heavily controlled and undemocratic Fans Forum and Fans Advisory Board to their PR spin machine. Our once great club is truly in the gutter.
The Glazers couldn’t have chosen a better club to own. You reap what you sow.
There seems to be a certain section in the fanbase on social media who in most cases never attend games who don’t understand the difference between protesting and criminal damage. We will never be encouraging anyone to cross the line and break the law. We have automated blocking on the account for those following this path and expecting everyone but themselves to get involved.
We will continue to focus on our strategy and what we believe is achievable and practical given the resources and time we have.
We DO NOT control the actions of 70K fans. The harsh truth is many of them do not care or love the club enough to do anything other than to watch the game. We will release some analysis we have on this at a later date.
It’s always been left to the minority to carry the torch for the majority. This was the case in 2005 which ultimately led to the formation of another club, it is still the case today with our generation.
Persistence will always overcome resistance. This is the keystone along with our morals, values and integrity in taking our club and fanbase back to where it belongs.
We will never give in.
